Illustration in Terrazzo

In 2017 I was invited by my long-time client—the Winter Park Health Foundation—to create seven medallions to be installed in the floor of the Center for Health & Wellbeing. The state of the art Center, which opened in 2019, houses physician offices, a fitness center, a community conference center, café, walking paths and gardens.

The medallions in are located in the Commons. They are made of terrazzo—colored resin and aggregate poured into a frame cut from a combination of metal and black plastic. The designs are inspired by the center’s Seven Dimensions of Wellbeing theme.
